All-Mini Live

Saturday,
March 27, 2004
at Jetton Waterfront Hall in Lake Norman, NC
We're
back again for our fifth year – only this time it will be spring.
We’ve used this photo of our show hall, Jetton Waterfront Hall,
for years, and now we finally match the season when it was taken! Please
join us again for another year of mini fun!
NAMHSA
Membership application filed.
Showholder: Lesli Kathman
(704)548-9308 (please no calls after 9pm EST)
[email protected]
Entry
Fee:
Prior to March 1 - $30
March 1 or later - $35
(fee includes breakfast and lunch)
For those that cannot attend, but want to show their horses by proxy,
the fee is either $2 per horse or $20 for 10 or more horses. When sending
a proxy entry, please let us know who will be showing your horses for
you. While we have no cut-off date, we will have to limit the number
of entrants to 30 due to the size of the hall. Registering early is
a good idea! Send entry forms and checks (made out to Lesli Kathman)
to the show secretary:
Heather Malone-Bogle
106 Boyd Ave #103, Waynesville, NC 28786. You can use PayPal
for entry fees ([email protected]), but you will still need to send
the entry form to Heather.

has become our tradition, we will be feeding everyone during the show.
Both breakfast and lunch will be provided as part of the entry fee.
Snacks, soft drinks and - of course - sweet tea will be available throughout
the show.
A
Few Rules:
For this show, any standing adult model under 5" will be considered
a 'mini', while foals should be 2 ½" or less. Any make is
allowed.
Handlers
are not allowed in the halter classes. Halters are permitted, as are
small squares of felt or similar footing for fragile models - just remember
that table space may be limited so keep them small.
We
will be using a timer on performance classes to keep the show from running
late. Bringing your minis already tacked up for their first class will
help!
There
is a two (2) horse limit in performance and a four (4) horse limit in
all other classes. Entrants are welcome to add horses over the limit
if there are less than 10 horses in a class.
Divisions:
Custom: Customs are mass-produced molds that have been painted
or otherwise altered from their original factory finish. Examples of
mass-produced molds include Breyer, Hagen-Renaker, Hartland, Creata
and North Light.
Artist
Resin: Resins are those molds created and cast specifically for
the model horse hobby. Bisques that have been “cold-painted”
will also be placed in this division.
Custom
Glazed: Custom glazed horses are those horses with a one-of-a-kind
glazed finish. This division includes those horses that have been altered
before firing (“claybody” customs).
Non-Pro:
Non-pro horses are those horses created by artists whose work has not
yet won a North American National Championship or Reserve in either
2001 or 2002. Non-pro horses do not have to be created by the exhibitor,
and they may enter the regular classes as well as non-pro classes. (A
list of artists not eligible for the non-pro classes will be available
prior to the show)
